PVCC Star Party & Possible Photo Shoot 6/12

The construction has moved to another area. They haven't finished
cleaning up. There is alot of dust. We might want to move over to the
field east of the deck.You can drive to site by coming in from the east
side of campus. I asked for gravel to be put down around deck, but not
done yet. TY Dave

We were considering a photo shoot for 5pm prior to this star party.
Do we want to work our way around this mess, or hold the photo shoot
and star party another time?

Give me your input in this forum and we will discuss what to do about it,
if anything.

Chris are you available for a photo shoot this Thur at 5pm at PVCC?

Thursdays are rough for me because I have my weekly team meetings from 5PM-6PM.

Good morning All,

Due to the construction fact and the fact that we can't get everyone
there for the photo shoot, I'm canceling the photo shoot at PVCC
for tomorrow 6/12.

However, a discussion was brought up and started on the photo shoot
for scheduling it for some Saturday or Sunday in July.

Watch the announcements for when it will be. It will be based on which of the
dates we have more RSVP's for. So, if you haven't let me know when of the
dates listed below you can attend, please do so now. Your RSVP - if you
wish to be in the photo - is needed to help make this decision.

I'm trying to get the majority of PAS Telescope TEAM members in the photo. Certain people are seen more than others at the public star parties, and
those are the ones who will most likely want to be in the photo, as they
are also the ones who will be doing the PAID STAR PARTY for which
this photo is being taken.

So, if you haven't RSVP'd for the photo shoot, please do so now by email for the following dates:

July 13 Sunday

July 26 Saturday
July 27 Sunday

Drop me an email to say which dates you can make it to.
We are thinking of setting up about 2:30pm, starting photos around 3pm.
Bring your telescope for the photo.
