The Phoenix Astronomical Society presents & hosts at Bookman's -
A
FREE TELESCOPE WORKSHOP
From 3:30pm to 5:30pm
PAS will be in the backroom at the Phoenix Bookman's
to assist folks in learning how to use their telescope by daylight.
Bring: Your scope, accessories, and Questions.
Weather Permitting: This event is indoors. However,
if it is raining, the event will be canceled. We do not
wish for you to bring your scope into Bookman's through
the rain. Rain is no good for your scope.
PAS Provides: Answers, one on one instruction, and handouts
helping you learn about your scope.
We also help you find your FIRST SCOPE, should you have
no clue what to purchase.
Then, after you attend the class, feel free to visit the
PAS
Website Calendar and choose a Public Star Party to attend
and get further, evening assistance with your telescope.
RSVP is required below. This ensures we have enough
handouts for everyone attending.
Everyone, of any age, is welcome to attend this event.
Your family can attend. While you enjoy the class, your family can
browse Bookmans Entertainment Exchange.
RSVp is open on this site until NOON the day of the event.
Afterwards, you will have to call in your RSVP to Terri
at 602-561-5398.
Come learn how to use your telescope and get the most
out of it!
