Geminids Meteor Shower Peak
Calendar: PAS Public Event Calendar
Event Posted By: Terri Finch
12-13-2017
*The times shown may change, depending on DST settings
A Meteor Shower can be seen from 5 days before to 5 days after the Peak Date. What the Peak date is, is the best date to see the Most Meteors from that Meteor Shower. And the best time to view any Meteor Shower is after Midnight.
This is a naked eye event. That means, it is best viewed from a dark location or your back yard, and without the aid of a telescope. PAS sometimes hosts Meteor Shower Parties. This event, however, has no Party planned.
More details can be found at this link, about Meteor Showers and other fun Celestial events you may wish to see: http://www.seasky.org/astronomy/astr...ndar-2017.html
