This is where all updates are being added to this event, so PAS Members please take a peek at the plans for this event, at this link!!!

The Public calls me with their RSVP and asks these same questions almost every time.... so, i present the answers here.
1) This event is open to everyone. Come take a look through our high powered telescopes.
2) This event is FREE and Open to the Public, all ages welcome. RSVP is requested if you wish to receive a notice that this event has become cancelled. We don't want you driving to a cancelled event.
2) This event has the ability to be wheel chair friendly. However, you might not be able to see through a scope that is looking at an object closer to the horizon, if you can not stand up from your wheel chair for some of the scopes.
3) This event outdoors also starts when it gets dark enough to see something in the night sky, and ends at 9:45. The public does not have to attend at the start of the event, but they do have to leave at the end of the event. Come and go as you please. And please do not go down to the observing deck until the designated start time of the Star Party - for your safety.
Additional notes: I highly recommend that you look through each telescope at least 2 times during the evening, as the telescope operators will be moving to new objects as new objects become availble and the previous objects disappear from view.

PAS members are setting up 10-14 telescopes for your viewing pleasure. Please help us keep these events Admission FREE by following these rules.
a) Please NO White light in the observing area. If your phone rings, take the call away from the observing deck so that your white like will not affect other attendees night vision.
b) Please DO NOT touch the telescopes.

PAS Members please RSVP your attendance below.
A minimum of 1 scope and 1 public RSVP will
keep this event happening. RSVP today!

Public RSVP is by Email to Events@pasaz.org. Please include number in your party. Thanks.

This event is Weather Permitting. Bad Weather WILL cancel this event.

(Working to update this list soon, thank you for your patience.)

PAS Members, please set up at 6pm for the star party which is 7pm to 9:45pm.

Those doing indoor activities, set up is 4pm, with a start time of 5pm and going to 9:30pm.

If anyone wishes to help with the initial set up, I'm planning to be there at 2pm and will need help unloading my car into the Aquila building.
