You don't have to arrive at 4;30, as some times some of us can't arrive at 4:30 and don't get there until 5pm. Just let me know if your arrival time is different from 4:30pm, and about what time you think you will arrive. Put this in your RSVP.

ASU West Public Star Party

ASU west is located at 4701 W Thunderbird Rd, Glendale, AZ 85306
There is a $3 parking fee for all attendees of this event and you must park in the parking lot, unless you can park near by and walk over, such as at Arby's across the street at 47th ave and Thunderbird.

See you there!
I do suggest a light jacket, as it could have a chill in the breeze.

Come touch and feel real Rocks from Space. Meteorite Man Mike will be at this event with his very popular Meteorite collection. Bring the Kids of all ages.

PAS Members RSVP below to attend and list the telescope you are bringing, please. PAS Members, please park in the usual set up location, and come up the hill slowly as not to raise too much dust for the telescopes.

Set up is 6pm.
Arbys dinner is 4:30pm to 5:45pm.

Everyone is welcome to join the Telescope Team at dinner before the event. It's a Buy Your Own Dinner (BYO) get together. We will be discussing the set up of the event, what we are observing, etc.

Tonight's highlights are:

sunset is about 6pm
Dark is about 7:30pm
Moon goes down with the Sun - not visible this night

Mars is visible 6:10pm
Saturn is visible 6:20pm to 10pm
And we have an ISS fly over about 8:03pm to 8:06 pm, which might not be visible but if it is, it is flying NW to SW.
