Roadrunner Park Astronomy Day is Cancelled due to Weather for May 11
Please have a super Astronomy Day evening relaxing!

Public Star Party at RoadRunner Park for Astronomy Day!

Event is from 7:30pm to 9:30pm
Location is Roadrunner Park in Phoenix at 3502 E Cactus Rd Phoenix.

Visible this night:
Moon in daytime
Mars by the Moon and visible 7:45pm
So the highlights of this night are: Moon & Mars

Set up of the telescope team is 6:30pm
PAS table and Meteorite Man will be there
PAS Members bringing scopes or helping out, please RSVP below.

May 6 weather update: As of today, Saturday looks overcast. If you plan to attend this event, please be sure to send an RSVP to to get the current forecast for this event. An Auto reply will let you know the status of the event and the weather. I hope to have that auto reply and the weather figured out by 11:30am on Saturday May 11th. Hoping for clear skies for this event.

May 9 update: As of today, Saturday's forecast from 7:30 to 9:30 looks like no rain, light breeze but completely overcast. Not calling the event on or off until Saturday morning by 11:30am. Email me to get the weather update about Saturday's event at Roadrunner Park 7:30pm to 9:30pm May 11.
