This event is open to all PAS Members and their immediate family members
living in their household.
This is a class designed to help those with a telescope, to learn to use their telescope, navigate the nights sky, learn about eyepieces, filters, and additional gadgets that may make viewing through your telescope that much more enjoyable.
Teachers needed for this class:
* Sky Tour
* Someone to talk about light pollution and ways to get around it
* Talk about how eyepieces work
* Talk about filters
* Green Lasers - safety, use, etc.
* Teachers to help with set up of Telescopes of attendees
* Talk about how to read and use star charts
* I'd like someone attending to pick some great objects to view for first timers using their telescopes...
* Make a list of objects
* write up some facts about the objects to share while we are viewing them
RSVP is required by the
Day before the event.

This event has a potluck. Please attend with idea of bringing food, and then sharing food you bring to the potluck. It is best to eat a good meal before taking the class so everyone has a full tummy. If you don't want to participate in potluck, make sure your RSVP says this, and bring your own snacks.
