An auto response will be returned to you with an update about the event. The auto response will start going out on Friday Oct 27, with info about the weather and if the event is happening or canceled due to weather. It is highly recommended you RSVP through email to get this notice.

Activities may include:

* Mike, Meteorites Man - come touch and feel real meteorites.
* Viewing through our telescopes: Jupiter, Orion Nebula, Venus

As of today 5/3, the weather looks promising. My Weather Watcher team checked 8 different weather forecasts for tonight at BMC. The Forecasts average 11 % clouds 6 mph winds and 0% rain. Should be a nice night for stargazing. Tonight's star party is a GO.

The Public calls with their RSVP and asks these same questions almost every time.... so, i present the answers here.
1) This event is open to everyone. Come take a look through our high powered telescopes. The Event is FREE.
2) This event has the ability to be wheel chair friendly. However, you might not be able to see through a scope that is looking at an object closer to the horizon, if you can not stand up from your wheel chair for some of the scopes.
3) This event also starts when it gets dark enough to see something in the night sky, and ends at 9:45. The public does not have to attend at the start of the event, but they do have to leave at the end of the event. Come and go as you please.
Additional notes: I highly recommend that you look through each telescope at least 2 times during the evening, as the telescope operators will be moving to new objects as new objects become availble and the previous objects disappear from view.

PAS members are setting up 10-14 telescopes for your viewing pleasure. Please help us keep these events Admission FREE by following these rules.
a) Please NO White light in the observing area. If your phone rings, take the call away from the observing deck so that your white like will not affect other attendees night vision.
b) Please DO NOT touch the telescopes.

PAS Members please RSVP your attendance below.
A minimum of 1 scope and 1 public RSVP will
keep this event happening. RSVP today!
Public RSVP is by Email to Events@pasaz.org. Please include number in your party. Thanks.
