PAS Telescope Training Workshop 6/14 6pm to 10pm PV Park

This Saturday, Join PAS
for a Telescope Training Workshop, 6pm to 10pm.

What is that?

At a Telescope Training Workshop you bring YOUR telescope,
accessories, star charts, etc.
We meet in the parking area closest to the SR 51.. Squaw Peak Pkwy.
The lot meets up with the bridge for foot traffic across the Parkway.

For a map of this event location visit
http://www.pasaz.org/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=38
and download the map to PV Park.

Then, by the light of the 1st Quarter Moon, we help you learn how to operate
your telescope. Bring only red filtered flashlights, please.
And we can help you learn how to navigate the night sky using star charts
and star hopping techniques.

Several of us bring our telescopes as well to show you what you can see
in the night sky. It isn't just for your scope to find objects, but also
so you can get the idea how to find the objects that are up there with our
help.

Then, after learning a little from us at this workshop, attend one of our more
dark sky locations such as the star parties in Black Canyon City, where
you can then use ONLY RED LIGHT and find the objects with help through
your telescope.

RSVp is required.
No public RSVP's will cancel this event.

To RSVP - go to the event on 6/14, click on it, then at the bottom of the
event will be an option to RSVp your attendance.

Weather permitting, let's have a super event!
