Default Prime Focus Question

Now that I have a working powered German EQ mount I am ready to do the deed with prime focus. I've been told that I need to move the mirror up the tube and need some guidance.

I have an 8" newtonian and I think an f8 at 1200mm or 48". I have all of the connections for my two dslr's.

Any idea how far up I need to move the mirror assembly? Thanks.

Default Prime focus

I have an 8 inch newtonian reflector, an F6, with a focal length of 1200 mm, and there are two sets of screws to move the mirror. It is a 4 cm move on my scope to get to prime focus. Take care, Sam Insana
