Default Update on Mar - end of May 2019 Free Public Events

Update on Mar - end of May 2019 Free Public Events

Awesome Friday to everyone!
March and April are super busy months for PAS.
The weather has turned nice and hopefully it stays that way.

Quick reminder: If you RSVP for an event and the event becomes cancelled, a notice will come to you by email by 4pm that day (or earlier if the event starts earlier) as the PAS Weather Watching Team monitors and reports the weather to me to make a decision on the events status (Happening or Cancelled) around 11:30am on the event day. Be sure to RSVP if you want to get the notice about Cancelled events. RSVP to Events@pasaz.org

These are ALL Public Events....
That means bring everyone you know to the event, and enjoy!

Dates of events are in Bold for easy reading.
I have included the links for easier RSVP.

This list is accurate for today - Mar 15 Friday to end of May 2019.
Please always check the PAS online calendar for the most up-to-date details of the event, before you attend in case there is a change to how the event will happen.

Mar 17 Sunday - Bookmans Telescope 3:30 to 5:30pm
I have room for more RSVP's to attend to get help with their Telescopes. We currently have 1 Public RSVP. And I currently have enough Telescope Teachers to do this event. http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar...=2019-3-17&c=1

Mar 28 BMC Star Party Set up is at 5:30 for indoor activities which is usually Mike with his meteorites and me with the PAS table, Q&A, and if there are enough scopes attending - a Treasure Hunt. Indoor activites start at 6:30 to 9:30pm, and set up for the Star Party outdoors is 6pm with a star party from 7pm to 9:30pm. http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar...=2019-3-28&c=1
I currently count 4 attending telescopes, which is ok for a general star party but not enough scopes for a Treasure Hunt. We don't have to do a Treasure Hunt this month if the Telescope Team prefers not to. I would like a minimum of 6 telescopes for the Treasure Hunt.

Mar 30 Huge Star Party in Fountain Hills. RSVP in Private Calendar to attend with or without a scope. Please be sure to mention your attendance plans... with a scope - what size, or without a scope to enjoy the event. This will help Ted with the planning of the event: http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar...=2019-3-30&c=1

Apr 4 PAS Meeting does not require an RSVP but Please note it is in a different room - KSC 1000A. http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar...y=2019-4-4&c=1 Doors open 7pm, meeting begins 7:30pm.
Bring a friend, the family, and a snack to share, and come enjoy a larger crowd at this meeting!!!

Apr 6 Public Star Party at South Mountain 7pm to 9pm. Bring a friend, enjoy a night under the stars: http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar...y=2019-4-6&c=1

May 19: Free Bookmans Telescope Workshop 3:30pm to 5:30pm. More details, RSVP required: http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar...=2019-5-19&c=1

Always check the PAS online Calendar http://www.pasaz.org/forums/calendar.php for the most current events and remember that paper lists of events and this list, is only accurate at the time of it's creation and you should always refer to the online Calendar for the most accurate list of events and data about each event.

Have a super Friday and weekend!
