Default For assistance with Observing & learning more astronomy

Good morning Everyone!

Today I was searching for a way to print a star chart in prep for going out observing with my telescope this weekend. I used to use SkyandTelescope.com's interactive sky chart until their sky chart became a hassle to use, as it froze on a regular basis due to JAVA not working correctly on my computer. My last visit to their site (not counting just now) was 1.5+ years ago.

I am happy to report that they have mended their Interactive Sky Chart and it works like a dream now.
Here's the link: https://www.skyandtelescope.com/obse...ive-sky-chart/

The other really cool thing I found when visiting Sky and Telescope's site
and Astronomy's site was some FREE Ebooks. If you don't have an account on these two sites, create a free account and then you can download these wonderful items to read....

From SkyandTelescope.com
Here's the link to the FREE Ebook Library:
https://www.skyandtelescope.com/free-ebook-library/

"StarGazing: Getting Started" (accessible from front page)

"Black Holes"
"Saturn's Bounty"
"Shooting Stars"
"Mars Landings: Then and Now"
"Astrophotography Primer"

And from Astronomy.com
The location of this ebook is on the front page.

"Pluto and its moons: Findings from the New Horizons mission"

I thought I'd share these wonderful findings with everyone.
Have a super day!
