Default Current plan for this event:

Set up is 5pm

Star party begins 6pm to 10pm

I have asked security at PVCC Black Mtn
to block off the area by 5pm, so
go through the cones to park in the area we did
last time, so our vehicles can be close for
unloading scopes.

Boxes will be covering the lights.

We hope for a huge crowd.
Sign up to assist,
and public should RSVP Events@pasaz.org
just in case we have to cancel due to weather.
RSVP with your first name and number in your party.
I want to be sure i have enough handouts for everyone.

Kids (Under 18) can come to my table and play Q & A. Win prizes.

Sunset is 5:10pm
Jupiter is visible 5:30pm
Dark is 6:30pm
Orion will be rising around 8:50pm

Many awesome objects to view in the night sky.
Above is only the highlights.

As of right now the weather is looking iffy, 19% cloud cover at 5pm rising to 35% by 8pm. It will be in the 60's, and winds below 10 mph.

Default updates

oooo look at all these weather updates. I love it,
thanks so much for posting.

It looks like it cleared up enough to have the event.
A massive email went out to oer 450 Astronomy lovers
this morning for this event.

We should have a super turnout!

Default Update from Loretta:

Yes we plan to block off that north row. We've also fixed the lights so that we can turn them off.
I won't be able to make it tonight, came down with a fever early this morning so I'm home sick.
I've relayed the information to both Diana and Kevin and they will assist. If you are short on Telescopes we have a large scope on wheels that can be moved out if need be.

Thanks /Loretta
