About the Phoenix Astronomical Society

The Phoenix Astronomical Society is an organization of individuals with many related interests; telescopes, binoculars, astrophotography, computer planetaria, astronautics, sky lore, astrogeology, NASA and celestial navigation are just a few examples. We are amateur and professional astronomers, teachers and learners, oldsters and youngsters, men and women ... all inquiring minds. The one thing we share is a desire to know more about the wonders of the night sky.

PAS Meetings

We meet once each month, usually on the first Thursday, September through May, 7:00-9:45 pm, for presentations by professional and amateur astronomers. Our current meeting location is Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix. We have Guest Speakers come to our meetings and share their expertise and love for astronomy. Please see our Upcoming Meeting Speaker List.
