PAS General Meetings

PAS General Meetings are in LS-203 at Paradise Valley Community College 18401 N 32nd Street, Phoenix AZ 85032. Doors open 7pm. Meeting begins at 7:30. Everyone welcome. Bring a friend & a snack to share. These meetings are on the 1st Thursday of the month, unless otherwise noted with the day of the week added or the Date in Yellow text.
* Be aware that some meetings start earlier than 7:30pm. Earlier start times will also be in Yellow text.
* Special Meetings & Lectures can be in other rooms and are announced with the Guest Speaker info below. This info will also be in Yellow, when needed to reflect a change.
** Some meetings have Dinner prior to the meeting and require RSVP to attend. If a Dinner is listed below, see Calendar link for more details. PAS Members RSVP for dinner on the Calendar and Guests of PAS please email Events@pasaz.org with the number in your party by the Day Before the Meeting.

May 9 General Meeting: David Lee Summers ""Surveying the Universe: The Changing Mission of Kitt Peak"
David Lee Summers is an author, editor and astronomer living somewhere between the western and final frontiers in Southern New Mexico. He is the author of ten novels. His short stories and poems have appeared in numerous magazines including Cemetery Dance, Realms of Fantasy, Star*Line, and The Santa Clara Review. David is also the founding editor of Tales of the Talisman Magazine. When he's not writing, he operates telescopes at Kitt Peak National Observatory.
